A proud alumnus of IIT Delhi and IMD Lausanne, he commenced his professional journey in the construction of oil, gas, and chemical plants, laying a robust foundation for his future achievements.
His 25-year tenure at Det Norske Veritas (DNV) saw him ascend to senior management positions, where he adeptly handled regional and global responsibilities, showcasing his strategic acumen and global perspective. Building on this extensive experience, Venkataram then served as the Managing Director for India at the British Standards Institution (BSI) for 14 years, further solidifying his reputation as a capable leader.
Venkataram remains an active and influential figure in the Indian industry, providing invaluable business solutions in critical areas such as Business Continuity Management, Energy Management, Risk Management, and Organizational Resilience. He is a certified Ethical Influence Coach and a Founder Member of the esteemed Cialdini Institute.
